I just figured since I'm in the mood for adding some old photos.... Here are a few from Yellowstone while I was living up there, and working at Roosevelt Lodge for a bit.

There was a stretch of 3 nights when the moths were out in unbelievable numbers! If there was a light source, it was COVERED in moths.

I took this photo in the "back yard" of my cabin at Roosevelt. 

 Also taken from my cabin.... right off my front porch within 5 minutes of waking up on morning.

These photos are from a funeral of a family friend. I had asked this family if they would like me to shoot some photos of the ceremony for them as a gift. There's nothing that tells a story quite like a photo or two....

Mt. Jefferson & the Castle Trail!

I recently went hiking with a couple of friends to the summit of Mt. Jefferson in NH's White Mountains. We took the Castle Trail, which is named for the castle like granite spires along it's ridge. This particular trail is a pretty intense climb, with many steep sections of loose granite boulders above the treeline. We went for a hike this particular day to celebrate Mike's birthday. It was the perfect way to celebrate an old mountain man's b-day.

My first blog post!

So, I'm new to this. Aside from facebook, I have no web publishing experience. I am hoping to fix that with the creation of this blog. Hopefully I will be able to share my photos and travels with my family and friends, and also get my photography work out there on the web for some future business opportunities. Who knows what will happen.
